When attached to a normal phone line
the No Battery Drain Forus phone recorders will only use battery power when
your phone is off hook and someone is talking. When the phone hangs up the recorder
senses the voltage change and automatically goes into standby mode.
Standard digital phone recorders
are ALWAYS USING BATTERY POWER even in standby mode when nobody
is talking. The no battery drain versions only use battery power when they are
in use.
