Cell phone and Telephone Recording
Of course you can record your telephone and cell phone calls with the included adapters. The included adapter is intended to be used with analog style telephones like you have at home. It will work with cordless phones and VOIP services like you get from your cable company or Vonage as long as the carrier provides an analog signal. An easy way to know if you have an analog signal is that if you can plug a regular telephone into the jack and make a phone call.
This recorder will not work with multi-line office style digital phone systems directly. You can use the included ear microphone to record whatever you hear through your handset but you cannot record the any other phone on the system.
There is no direct connection for cell phone recording since each brand of cell phone has a different style of connector but we do included a universal cell phone recording adapter which is a microphone that is disguised as an earphone. Simply place the ear-mic into your ear and make a call like you normally would. Our exclusive pass through design allows you to ear the other party just like normal. Plug the input cord into the recorder, hit record, and you will have your entire call documented.
