Q. How does the Thermal Motion Sensor work?
A. Standard hidden cameras use pixel based motion sensing that watches for changes in the image.  This requires that the camera be on and working all the time.  This system uses a PIR sensor similar to the ones used in alarm systems. It looks for changes in temperature.  When a person enters a room they are warmer than the surrounding walls and furniture.  The sensor detects this and activates the camera.

Q. What's the best place to put this hidden spy camera in my home?
A. It all depends on what you're trying to capture. If you have a nanny or babysitter then most likely they will spend most of their time in the living area of the house. A countertop, bookshelf, or entertainment center would be your best option.

Q. Where is the camera in this unit and can you see it?
A. The camera is hidden behind the tinted black plastic and it is not easily visible.  It can be angled so that you can sit the unit on it's end or lay it flat.
