The KeyPhantom keylogger works by
recording all USB keystrokes that pass through it. It is NOT a software interface
that can be detected with traditional detection programs. This Key Logger
is Undetectable unless the person knows what a KeyPhantom looks like.
To install: simply plug the KeyPhantom USB extension cable between the USB
keyboard and the computer. It is similar to the way you plug in an appliance
with a power extension cord.
To record: As soon as the device is plugged in it will automatically record
all USB keystrokes while the computer is on.
To retrieve typed data: Open a text editor such as Wordpad and type the
activation password 'phxlog'. This will bring up a text based menu.
Press '1' on the
keyboard and all keystrokes will be typed to the screen.
