The DVR has a built in 2.4GHz wireless receiver but can also be used with hard wired cameras should you ever have the need. Built in quad splitter lets you view all cameras at once, one at a time, or in sequence while the DVR records all cameras for playback at any time. The built in motion sensing circuitry saves you time when reviewing footage by limiting the amount of dead space you have to look at.
Motion Activated - Internet Accessible
Each outdoor security camera comes with a power supply. The power supply must be plugged into an electrical outlet then the camera for it to operate. The term wireless refers to the video transmission only. The camera still needs power.
