What exactly is the VIB and how does it work? |
| The
VIB has done for video surveillance what the laptop has done for computers.
It's portability allows you to rapidly deploy all types of surveillance
cameras. Rather than having to stretch hundreds of feet of cable
through walls and above ceilings, the VIB makes it possible to set up video
surveillance in very little time.
In this example, a wireless
teddy bear camera is sending it's video signal through the air to the VIB
system. You would simply place the bear camera in a room you wanted to
monitor, set up the VIB to record, then leave. It's that simple.
Return later to view the video you recorded.

resistant and corrosion proof lockable Pelican case. An acoustic foam lined
lid closes snugly over the electronic components to protect them from dirt
and moisture while in use and in storage.
It is made of Ultra High Impact structural
copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. Its exclusive 1/4"
(6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring and ABS latches seal perfectly and includes an
automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric
pressure.

sealed lead acid batteries provide up to 8 hours of power to the video

Week Battery Backup Operation - This VCR includes a built-in memory
backup so that the time and date, presets, the alarm list and the power loss
list will remain in memory if there is a power failure. The presets
will remain in memory for a maximum of a week provided that the VCR has been
connected to AC power for at least 40 hours per week. Connection to
power charges the backup battery.

Built-in 6db Gain Antenna |
 If
you don't have a clue what db is, no worry. The higher the number, the
better. It is simply an indication of the antenna's strength.
Most video receivers come with a 3db antenna. While this serves it's
purpose for most applications we thought it would be better to give you
twice the receiving power. The antenna is the square copper piece
secured to the lid. Notice the white cord going from the antenna to
the control panel. This is low loss cable that helps diminish signal loss
from the antenna to the receiver. The SMA type connector can be
removed if you wish to use a Yagi or other type of antenna. |
