| What
is the ProTrak Digital? |
The
ProTrak Digital Real Time Vehicle Tracking unit is a cellular based
GPS tracker that can be permanently installed or rapidly deployed on
any
vehicle in a moments notice. A built in cellular modem allows
you to dial in and retrieve the stored historical position data or
capture
the real time location of your target vehicle.

| Main
Unit - Holds the GPS Circuitry and Cellular Interface |
 The
main ProTrak Digital unit is a weather tight, hardened steel enclosure
that houses the GPS receiver and cellular interface. It has two
25lb magnets on the bottom side and connectors for the GPS antenna, cellular
antenna, and power source. Two machine threaded screws hold the
circuit board in place and allow you to access the device for programming
with relative ease. It's about the size of a standard VHS cassette
tape so it can be easily installed just about anywhere on a vehicle. |

| Battery
Pack - 8 D Cells for up to 5 days operation |
 For
covert or temporary installation we include a battery enclosure (complete
with batteries) that holds 8 D Cells. The battery pack also has
a 25lb magnet underneath and will power the ProTrak Digital for up to
5 days. 4 inset screws hold the battery pack together and allow
access to the enclosure for replacing the batteries.
We recommend purchasing an additional
battery pack to have on hand when you need to quickly replace the
power source in the field.
A hard wired connection is also supplied
for wiring directly to the vehicle battery or cigarette lighter plug. |

| GPS
Low Profile Puck Style Antenna |
 To
receive the GPS signals from the satellites the main unit needs an antenna. Included
with your purchase is a low profile, puck style GPS antenna. With
a magnetic bottom, the antenna will attach to any metallic surface. 20
feet of cable lets you place the antenna just about anywhere on your
vehicle at a great distance from the main unit. Our new, upgraded
SMA connector is field replaceable so in the event it becomes separated
from the fitting we can direct you to a shop in your area for replacement. |

| Antenna
Will Operate Through Plastic, Carpet, and Glass |
 The
puck style antenna needs to have a clear line of sight to the satellites
in space. It is designed to be mounted between the plastic covering
over your bumper so that no metal is in the way. You can also mount
the antenna under anywhere in the vehicle that is plastic or carpet and
a clear view through the windows. Back dashes or front dashes are
great places so long as there is no metal between the antenna and the
sky.
 "We HAVE been
successful placing the antenna under the vehicle next to the tracking
device but cannot guarantee it will work for everyone. You
will need to decide for yourself what the best place is by trial
and error." |

| Low
Profile Cellular Antenna |
 A
low profile cellular antenna is included for connection to the cellular
network. The antenna is designed to be placed underneath the vehicle
or in a convenient location of your choice. Mounting the antenna
on the roof or trunk will make the unit perform at it's best in fringe
areas but not necessary for daily operations. |

| Activating
Your Real Time Tracker |
 So
that you can dial in from your computer you will need to activate the
internal cell phone. Simply find a carrier in your home area and
take the unit to the local store for programming. A complete list
of carriers covering the United States can be located by opening your
installation CD on your computer or by following the links provided below. Cell
phone plans vary in price based on included minutes. If you are
not sure how many minutes you wish to track your vehicle each month we
suggest opting for the lowest rate plan and upgrading as needed. Better
yet, get pre-paid cellular minutes and you won't have monthly recurring
charges. |

are many real time vehicle trackers on the market today but none compare

non-volatile memory. Other units will lose your valuable data once
the batteries go dead. Not this one. You can leave the unit
on the vehicle after the batteries go dead and still retrieve the information. A
great feature and frustration saver for busy private investigators and
law enforcement. |

is not guaranteed everywhere the device may be used. |
