DX MWA-12 Antenna

The DX MWA‐12 antenna is a perfect addition to any RF device including RF detectors, spectrum analyzers and receivers.  Use this antenna when it is necessary to detect or receive signals above 2 GHz such as 3G, upper band 4G/LTE, WiFi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, WiFi 5GHz, wireless cameras, etc.

Thanks to its directivity it allows the operator to pinpoint the source easily. At the same time the detection distance comparing to the omnidirected antennas is at least 2 times longer (gain 6dB).

Usage With a Bug Detector

The DX MWA‐12 will increase the detection distance of signals above 2GHz when used with a RF bug detector. The reception will be improved for such signals as 3G, upper band 4G/LTE, WiFi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, WiFi 5GHz, wireless cameras, etc.

The RF device must have the SMA female connector. Otherwise the adapter should be used. Since the efficient range starts from 2 GHz, the signals with lower frequency will be omitted. Therefore repeat sweeping procedure with the standard antenna supplied with a RF detector.
